Collaborating with the talented Davy Evans for the In:Motion Series marked a creative milestone.

Davy is a Multidisciplinary Artist exploring the similarities between the Micro and the Macro who fuses analogue and digital techniques to create ethereal abstract imagery. He often uses experimental photographic methods, combined with light and liquid to replicate colour, form, and distortions.

The series, comprising 30+ events showcasing electronic music’s biggest acts, needed a distinct visual identity. The collaboration took a unique path by focusing on the iconic In:Motion logo.
The logo elements were cut out of thick sheet steel, these steel elements in turn were subjecting to various chemicals and liquids, abstract imagery emerged, capturing the flowing motion of a nightclub.

These images became the
cornerstone of event artwork and promotional material. The collaboration between design and art not only resulted in captivating visuals but also contributed to numerous sold-out shows and the sale of tens of thousands of tickets, solidifying In:Motion’s status as a prominent electronic music event series.
